There are now many organisations that have been set up to help people who had the same experiences as I did. The following list is just a few organisations which you may find helpful:
SAMARITANS is an organization that is close to my heart and provides confidential support, 24 hours a day for people experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide. Contact can be made via telephone, letter, face to face and email.
NSPCC whose aim is to see a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential.
whose aim is to support those individuals who have experienced mental and emotional distress.
